Changelog

Changes to the REST API, MCP server, SDKs, and CLI. Product updates live on dogabot.com/whats-new.

  1. Added REST APIMCP

    GET /me/statistics includes account buy-and-hold history

    GET /api/v1/me/statistics (and by-tag buckets) now returns benchmarkHistory — capital-weighted buy-and-hold for the same filter set as pnlHistory. MCP get_user_statistics exposes it as benchmark_history.

  2. Added REST API

    In-app notifications inbox

    GET /api/v1/me/notifications, GET /api/v1/me/notifications/unread-count, and POST /api/v1/me/notifications/read expose a persisted inbox (fills + future platform alerts). Cap 100 rows per user.

  3. Improved REST APIMCPSDKsCLI

    Comma-OR market search

    search on GET /api/v1/markets, MCP list_markets, and SDK/CLI get-markets accepts comma-separated terms OR’d as substrings (e.g. BRL,EWZ). Max 8 terms.

  4. Added MCP

    list_leaderboard MCP tool

    list_leaderboard returns the public automation ranking, the same board as the marketplace in the app.

  5. Added REST APIMCP

    Share backtests as Community examples

    Publish a completed backtest so other users can browse it and copy the setup.

    • POST, PATCH, DELETE /api/v1/backtest/{job_id}/community-example publish, update or unpublish a listing (write:backtest).
    • GET /api/v1/backtest/community-examples lists published examples.
    • MCP: list_community_examples, get_community_example, publish_community_example, unpublish_community_example.
  6. Added CLI

    dogabot CLI

    The dogabot CLI covers the full REST allowlist from a shell.

  7. Changed REST APIMCP

    Order quantity multiplier defaults to 2×

    When orderQuantityMultiplier is omitted on new automations and backtests, it now defaults to 2, so closes have headroom against venue minimum lot and notional. An explicit 1 is still accepted.

  8. Improved CLI

    CLI --color flag and NO_COLOR

    dogabot --color auto|always|never controls colored output, including Cobra help. The NO_COLOR environment variable is respected.

  9. Improved REST APISDKs

    Typed schemas for backtest create

    POST /api/v1/backtest and POST /api/v1/backtest/bulk now document every body field, including markets, params, template, param_ranges and run. Generated SDK types pick them up.
