CLI
The dogabot CLI calls the same public REST allowlist as the official SDKs — every
operationId — from your shell. Source lives in
dogabot/dogabot-cli
(synced from the monorepo); install produces a single Go binary.
Backend-first. Use DOGABOT_API_KEY (dbk_live_…).
Do not embed API keys in client apps.
Public source
MIT Go module and examples.
SDKs
Python, JS, Go, .NET clients.
MCP
Agent tools (curated subset).
Install
go install github.com/dogabot/dogabot-cli/cmd/dogabot@latest
Requires Go 1.22+. @latest tracks the newest release tag; pin
@vX.Y.Z for reproducible installs. GitHub Release binaries and Homebrew may
follow; the public repo stays the source of truth.
Auth
export DOGABOT_API_KEY=dbk_live_...
# optional: DOGABOT_BASE_URL, DOGABOT_YES=1
Or ~/.config/dogabot/config.json with api_key / base_url.
Prefer environment variables over --api-key (shell history).
Color
Default is --color=auto (decorative color only on a TTY). Use
--color=always or --color=never. A non-empty
NO_COLOR env var disables color (even with always).
--json never adds Lip Gloss chrome — JSON stays plain for pipes.
Quick start
dogabot version
dogabot whoami --json
dogabot account get-me --json
dogabot markets get-markets --json
dogabot call getMe --json
Commands are grouped by OpenAPI tag (account, automations,
markets, terminal, …). Use dogabot call <operationId>
for exact SDK names.
Writes and idempotency
Mutations require --yes (or DOGABOT_YES=1) and send an
Idempotency-Key (auto-generated if you omit --idempotency-key).
